Tasklocity
Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 4, 2026
Tasklocity is a store execution and team communication platform for multi-location retailers. It is operated by Camps Bay Labs, LLC ("Tasklocity," "we," "us"). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
Who this policy covers
- Customers: retailers and other businesses that subscribe to Tasklocity, and the people who manage their accounts.
- Team members: employees and managers who use Tasklocity because their employer gave them access.
- Job applicants: people who apply for a job with one of our customers through a Tasklocity careers or apply page.
When we process information about team members and job applicants, we do so on behalf of the employer that uses Tasklocity. That employer decides how the information is used for its hiring and its business, and you can contact them directly with questions about it.
Information we collect
Information you or your employer give us
- Account details such as name, email address, mobile phone number, job role, store or location, and language preference.
- Content created in the app, such as updates, tasks, checklists, audits, messages, photos, voice memos, videos, form responses, and training records.
- For job applicants: name, mobile phone number, optional email address, the job applied for, answers to screening questions, availability, the language you applied in, and whether you agreed to receive text messages.
Information collected automatically
- Device and usage information such as browser type, pages viewed, actions taken, and timestamps, used to run, secure, and improve the service.
- Push notification tokens if you allow notifications on a mobile device.
How we use information
- To provide the service: deliver updates and tasks, track completion, run hiring pipelines, translate content, and send notifications.
- To send transactional messages by email, push notification, or text message (see "Text messages" below).
- To keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and fix problems.
- To provide customer support.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use job applicant information to score or rank candidates automatically; hiring decisions are made by people at the employer.
Text messages (SMS)
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile phone numbers, text messaging opt-in data, and consent are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties, affiliates, or lead generators for their marketing or promotional purposes. The only sharing of mobile information is with the service providers that deliver our messages (such as our SMS provider), and only so they can deliver them.
We send text messages only to people who have opted in. Job applicants opt in by checking the text message consent box on an apply page. Team members opt in by turning on text notifications in their Tasklocity profile. Messages relate to your application or your work, for example interview scheduling or task reminders. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. See our Terms of Service for full text messaging terms.
How we share information
- With the employer you work for or apply to. A job application goes to the hiring managers at that employer. Team member content is visible to the people your employer's settings allow.
- With service providers who host and operate parts of the service for us, under contracts that limit their use of the data to providing services to us. These include cloud hosting and database providers, an SMS provider, an email delivery provider, a push notification provider, a video hosting provider, and an AI provider used for features such as translation and the in-app assistant.
- For legal reasons, if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users, the public, or Tasklocity.
- In a business transfer, such as a merger or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
How long we keep information
We keep account information and content for as long as the customer's account is active, or as the customer directs. Job application records are kept for four years by default so employers can meet record-keeping rules, after which they are deleted or anonymized. A customer can choose a different period where the law allows.
Your choices and rights
- You can stop text messages by replying STOP, and stop push notifications in your device settings.
- You can ask to access, correct, or delete your personal information. If your information came through an employer, we may refer your request to them, since they control it.
- Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law. We will respond to requests as those laws require.
To make a request, email support@tasklocity.com.
Security
We use access controls, encryption in transit, and role-based permissions so people only see what their role allows. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
Tasklocity is a workplace tool and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We will change the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, give notice in the app or by email.
